AN ACT
AMENDING Title 15, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-249.14; RELATING to the department of EDUCATION.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 15, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-249.14, to read:
15-249.14. School safety report; survey; posting
A. On or before December 15 of each year, the department of education shall submit a school safety report to the governor, the president of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives and provide a copy of the report to the secretary of state. The report shall contain the number of the following incidents reported at each school site in this state:
1. Bullying.
2. Fighting.
3. Sexual assault.
4. Threatening.
5. Intimidation.
6. Harassment.
7. Suicide.
8. Hazing.
9. Any form of physical attack that is not covered by paragraphs 1 through 8 of this subsection.
B. The department shall establish a survey to gather information for the report from each school district and charter school. The information reported may not contain student identifiable data.
C. The report shall be posted on the department's website in a format that is accessible to the public.
