A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

 

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Arizona; Amending article IV, part 2, Constitution of Arizona, by adding section 26; relating to transferring monies to the state general fund.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of Arizona, the Senate concurring:

1.  Article IV, part 2, Constitution of Arizona, is proposed to be amended by adding section 26 as follows if approved by the voters and on proclamation of the Governor:

26.  Transfer of monies; prohibition

Section 26.  An act shall not transfer any monies from any fund to the state general fund if the source of the monies to be transferred was not an appropriation from the state general fund unless the act repeals the fund or the fund is repealed by operation of law.

2.  The Secretary of State shall submit this proposition to the voters at the next general election as provided by article XXI, Constitution of Arizona.
