AN ACT

 

amending section 22-407, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to municipal courts.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Section 22-407, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

START_STATUTE22-407.  Failure to make payment or disbursement of fines or forfeitures received; classification

A presiding officer of a municipal court who knowingly receives a fine or forfeiture and knowingly fails, or refuses or neglects to pay or disburse it according to law within thirty days after receipt thereof,  is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor. END_STATUTE
