An Act
amending title 41, chapter 57, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 41-5902; relating to vaccination status.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 41, chapter 57, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-5902, to read:
41-5902. State agencies; political subdivisions; vaccination status; political affiliation; employment termination; civil penalty
A. a state agency or a political subdivision of this state may not terminate AN EMPLOYEE based on the EMPLOYEE'S vaccination status or political affiliation.
B. A state agency or political subdivision of this state that violates this section is subject to a civil penalty equivalent to ten percent of the state AGENCY'S or political SUBDIVISION'S budget from the prior fiscal year.
