AN ACT

 

amending title 11, chapter 7, article 8, arizona revised statutes, by adding section 11-1052; relating to enforcement of immigration laws.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 11, chapter 7, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-1052, to read:

START_STATUTE11-1052.  Immigration enforcement; federal reimbursement

Notwithstanding section 11-1051, this state or a county, city or town of this state may use law enforcement resources for the enforcement of federal immigration laws only after entering into a written agreement with the United States department of homeland security for reimbursement of all costs for the enforcement. END_STATUTE
