AN ACT
AMENDING Title 15, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-701.02; RELATING TO SCHOOL CURRICULUM.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 15, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-701.02, to read:
15-701.02. Partnership for assessment of readiness for college and careers; withdrawal
A. This state shall withdraw from the partnership for assessment of readiness for college and careers and may not implement the assessments aligned to the common core standards by that partnership.
B. This state may not enter into or renew an agreement with any outside entity that develops academic standards and assessments for use in multiple states unless the state board of education notifies the speaker of the house of representatives and the president of the senate in writing during a session of the legislature.
