SENATE BILL 1289

 

 

 

AN ACT

 

amending Title 15, chapter 12, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-1411; relating to community colleges.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 15, chapter 12, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-1411, to read:

START_STATUTE15-1411.  Eastern Arizona college; baccalaureate degrees

A.  Notwithstanding the two‑year limitation prescribed in section 15‑1401, eastern Arizona college as operated by the graham county community college district governing board may provide four‑year baccalaureate degrees in the following areas:

1.  Education.

2.  Business.

3.  Mining technology.

B.  No more than twenty-five per cent of class content for degrees offered pursuant to subsection a of this section may be offered online.

C.  Baccalaureate degrees offered pursuant to subsection A of this section shall be offered as part of a ten year pilot program. END_STATUTE
