Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 1, chapter 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding article 4, to read:

ARTICLE 4.  EFFECT OF FEDERAL LAWS

START_STATUTE1-261.  Election not to comply with federal law

If a federal law or rule allows a federal employee or United States representative or senator to elect not to comply with the federal law or rule, a citizen of this state may also elect not to comply with the federal law or rule. END_STATUTE
