Relating to the Arizona health care cost containment system.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  AHCCCS; drug screening; permitted use

On or before January 1, 2011, the Arizona health care cost containment system administration shall develop and implement a random drug screening procedure for applicants for services pursuant to title 36, chapter 29, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes.  The administration shall use the results of drug screening only for informational purposes and shall not use the results to make eligibility determinations.
