AN ACT
Amending title 36, chapter 20, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 36-2156; relating to abortion.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 36, chapter 20, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-2156, to read:
36-2156. Availability of postabortion care; physician responsibility; violation; classification
A physician is guilty of a class 3 misdemeanor if the physician performs or induces an abortion and does not have clinical privileges at a hospital that offers obstetrical or gynecological care within thirty miles of the location where the abortion is performed or induced.
