AN ACT

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 41, chapter 3, article 1.1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-511.24, to read:
41-511.24. Personal photography; commercial photography; pass; definitions
A. The Arizona state parks board shall issue a personal photography or commercial photography pass at no charge to a person who applies to the board for the pass.
B. The personal photography or commercial photography pass shall grant park entrance to all state parks located in this state for one year after the date that the pass is issued.
C. For the purposes of this section:
1. "Commercial photography" includes taking professional photographs relating to any of the following:
(a) Advertising and art.
(b) Fashion and glamour photography.
(c) Editorial photography.
(d) Photojournalism.
(e) Any other photography session in which the final images may be used in the stream of commerce.
2. "Personal photography" includes taking photographs for any of the following purposes:
(a) Wedding and engagement photographs.
(b) Professional family portraits.
(c) Professional school or graduation photographs, homecoming or prom photographs or photographs for modeling portfolios.
(d) Any other posed photography session that uses the state park location as a backdrop for photographs or that requires special attire, or both.
