amending title 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding chapter 9; relating to governmental entities.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding chapter 9, to read:
CHAPTER 9
GENERAL GOVERNMENT
ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1-901. Social worker positions; minimum qualifications
This state, a county, city or town and any school district may not advertise or hire for a social worker position unless the position requires that the minimum qualifications for an applicant are a four-year degree in social work from an accredited institution of higher education.
