An act to amend Section 3023 of the Elections Code, relating to elections.

AB 1663, as introduced, Schiavo. State voter information guide.
Existing law requires each ballot that is delivered to a vote by mail voter to be accompanied by a state voter information guide, except as specified. Existing law requires the state voter information guide to display the internet website address for a voter to check the status of their vote by mail or provisional ballot.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 3023 of the Elections Code is amended to read:

3023.
 Each ballot that is delivered pursuant to this chapter shall be accompanied by a state voter information guide, unless the voter has already been provided a state voter information guide. The state voter information guide shall display the Internet Web site internet website address for a voter to check the status of his or her their vote by mail or provisional ballot.
