Existing law sets forth the general responsibilities and roles of the Business, Consumer Services, and Housing Agency, the Department of Housing and Community Development, and the California Housing Finance Agency in carrying out state housing policies and programs.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 43018.11 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to read:43018.11.
(a) (1) By July 1, 2022, the state board shall, consistent with federal law, adopt cost-effective and technologically feasible regulations to prohibit engine exhaust and evaporative emissions from new small off-road engines, as defined by the state board.This chapter sets forth the general responsibilities and roles of the Business, Consumer Services, and Housing Agency, the Department of Housing and Community Development, and the California Housing Finance Agency in carrying out state housing policies and programs. This chapter is declaratory of existing law as to those roles and responsibilities, and shall not be construed as creating additional responsibilities.
