An act to amend Section 83100 of the Government Code, relating to the Political Reform Act of 1974.

The Political Reform Act of 1974 provides for the establishment within state government of the Fair Political Practices Commission, to consist of five members, as specified.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 83100 of the Government Code is amended to read:

83100.
 There is hereby established in state government the Fair Political Practices Commission. The Commission shall have five members, including the chairman. chairperson. No more than three members of the Commission shall be members of the same political party.
