INTRODUCED BY Assembly Member Jones

                        FEBRUARY 17, 2011

An act to amend Section 9250 of the Vehicle Code, relating to
vehicles.

	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 859, as introduced, Jones. Vehicles: registration fees.
Existing law requires a registration fee of $31 to be paid to the
Department of Motor Vehicles for the registration of every vehicle or
trailer coach of a type subject to registration under the Vehicle
Code, except those vehicles that are expressly exempted under that
code from the payment of registration fees.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these
provisions.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.
