CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2019–2020 REGULAR SESSION

Senate Bill No. 494

Introduced by Senator Archuleta

February 21, 2019

An act to amend Section 10150 of the Business and Professions Code, relating to real estate.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 494, as introduced, Archuleta. Real estate brokers.
Existing law, the Real Estate Law, prescribes a process for obtaining a license from the Real Estate Commissioner and prohibits a person from acting as a real estate broker, as specified, without obtaining a license. Existing law requires an application for the real estate broker license examination to be in writing and to include valid contact information for the applicant.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to these provisions.
