LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 961, as introduced, Melendez. Obligations.
Existing law establishes legal obligations arising from contracts between parties or by operation of law. Under existing law, an obligation is a legal duty on a person, as specified.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that provision.
