AN ACT CONCERNING AN INCOME TAX DEDUCTION FOR LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE PREMIUMS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to allow senior citizens to deduct from personal income tax the premiums paid on long-term care insurance.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow an income tax deduction for long-term care insurance premiums.
