AN ACT PROVIDING FUNDING FOR THE OPERATION OF THE WATER TAXI AT THE HERITAGE PARK IN GROTON.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, for the purpose of providing a grant to the city of Groton to fund the operation of the water taxi that serves the Heritage Park in the Groton and New London area.

Statement of Purpose:

To support an alternative form of transportation and tourism in the Groton and New London area.
