AN ACT CONCERNING THE ELECTION OF FIRE DISTRICT OFFICIALS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That titles 7 and 9 of the general statutes be amended to require fire district officials to be elected in the same manner as other municipal officials.

Statement of Purpose:

To modernize the process of electing fire district officials.
