AN ACT CONCERNING THE SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS DEDUCTION FROM THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to increase the income limits for taxpayers to claim the deduction from the personal income tax for Social Security benefits to one hundred thousand dollars for single filers and one hundred fifty thousand dollars for joint filers.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the income limits for taxpayers to claim the deduction from the personal income tax for Social Security benefits.
