AN ACT CONCERNING THE AFFORDABILITY TERM OF SET-ASIDE DEVELOPMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to require affordable housing units in set-aside developments to remain affordable in perpetuity.
Statement of Purpose:
To require affordable units in set-aside developments to remain affordable in perpetuity rather than allowing deed restrictions to sunset after forty years. .
