AN ACT AUTHORIZING BOARDS OF EDUCATION TO DETERMINE WHICH CONDUCT WARRANTS AN IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subsection (g) of section 10-233c of the general statutes be amended to allow local and regional boards of education to determine which conduct warrants an in-school suspension.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide municipalities with more control over their educational expenses by allowing them to determine which offenses warrant in-school suspensions.
