AN ACT CONCERNING THE PARTICIPATION OF HEATING OIL CUSTOMERS IN THE CLEAN ENERGY FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow (1) the assessment of a charge on residential heating oil that shall be deposited into the Clean Energy Fund and (2) amounts from the Clean Energy Fund to be used to finance the replacement of inefficient burners and furnaces for residential heating oil customers.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist residential heating oil customers in replacing inefficient heating equipment through the Clean Energy Fund.
