AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS' ACCEPTANCE OF PRIVATE INSURANCE FOR THE PROVISION OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO YOUNG ADULTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require health care providers to accept all private insurance plans for mental health services provided to young adults.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the acceptance of private insurance for mental health services provided to adolescents.
