AN ACT REQUIRING NOTICE OF PROPOSED SUBSTITUTE LANGUAGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require committee members to be provided notice of proposed joint favorable substitute language for a committee or raised bill prior to voting on such bill.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide legislators with notice of substantive changes to bill language prior to their voting on such bill.
