AN ACT CONCERNING THE CLOSURE OF THE CONNECTICUT JUVENILE TRAINING SCHOOL AND THE PUEBLO UNIT FOR GIRLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Children and Families to close the Connecticut Juvenile Training School and the Pueblo Unit for girls not later than January 1, 2017.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce costs to the state by requiring the closure of the Connecticut Juvenile Training School and the Pueblo Unit for girls not later than January 1, 2017.
