AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR DEPENDENT CHILD CARE COSTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to provide a credit against the personal income tax modeled after the dependent child care tax credit provided by the federal government.
Statement of Purpose:
To lower the cost of child care by providing a credit against the personal income tax for dependent child care costs.
