AN ACT CONCERNING THE ALLOCATION OF THE REAL ESTATE CONVEYANCE TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-494 of the general statutes be amended to reduce the state portion of the real estate conveyance tax from three-fourths of one per cent to one-half of one per cent, and increase the municipal portion of such tax from one-fourth of one per cent to one-half of one per cent.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the state portion of the real estate conveyance tax and increase the municipal portion of such tax.
