AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDS REMITTED TO MUNICIPALITIES FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF MOVING VIOLATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (d) of section 51-56a of the general statutes be amended to increase the amount remitted to municipalities by an additional twenty-five dollars per moving violation or to an amount equal to twenty-five per cent of the violation's original, face value amount, whichever is greater.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the reimbursement to municipalities for the costs incurred enforcing moving violations laws.
