AN ACT CONCERNING STUDENTS OF PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION LIVING OFF CAMPUS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to require public institutions of higher education to impose the same regulatory requirements and penalties on a student who rents or leases off-campus housing from the public institution of higher education as those regulatory requirements and penalties imposed on students living on campus.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the imposition of the same regulatory requirements and penalties on off-campus students renting or leasing housing from the public institution of higher education as those imposed on students living on campus.
