AN ACT REQUIRING THE INCLUSION OF PRIMARY CARE PROVIDERS ON INSURANCE IDENTIFICATION CARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 700c of the general statutes be amended to require health insurers to include the name of each insured's primary care provider on the insured's identification card.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide sufficient information on health insurance identification cards to allow other health care providers to send patient reports to primary care providers.
