AN ACT REQUIRING THE STATE TO PROVIDE PILOT MONEYS TO MUNICIPALITIES HOSTING CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the state to pay one hundred per cent of any payment in lieu of taxes grant to municipalities that host correctional facilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the state to meet its budgetary obligation to provide PILOT moneys to municipalities that host correctional facilities and other state-owned property.
