AN ACT CONCERNING DISCRIMINATORY EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES AND THE USE OF CREDIT REPORTS IN EMPLOYMENT DECISIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 46a-60 of the general statutes be amended to add discrimination on the basis of an employee's or prospective employee's credit history to the list of prohibited discriminatory employment practices.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent an employee or prospective employee from being subject to discrimination on the basis of his or her credit history .
