AN ACT CONCERNING THE CERTIFICATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2018) (a) As used in this section, "pharmaceutical sales representative" means a person who markets or promotes pharmaceuticals to one or more health care providers.
(b) The Commissioner of Public Health shall adopt regulations, in accordance with chapter 54 of the general statutes, requiring that any person who is employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative in the state be certified in accordance with a certification program developed by The University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy or the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||
