AN ACT CONCERNING THE REEMPLOYMENT OF RETIRED FACULTY BY THE BOARD OF REGENTS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to require retired faculty who are reemployed on a part-time basis by the Board of Regents for Higher Education to be classified as independent contractors.
Statement of Purpose:
To save state funds by clarifying certain faculty employed by the Board of Regents for Higher Education as independent contractors.
