AN ACT ELIMINATING CERTAIN LEGISLATOR FRANKING PRIVILEGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 2 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of public funds for the payment of the postage costs of members of the General Assembly, except for new registered voter letters.
Statement of Purpose:
To decrease the amount of state funds used for legislators to send mail.
