AN ACT ESTABLISHING A WORKERS' COMPENSATION FUND FOR FIRST RESPONDERS SUFFERING FROM POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a fund to allow first responders who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of witnessing traumatic events in the course of their duty to receive workers' compensation benefits.
Statement of Purpose:
To create a fund to allow first responders access to workers' compensation benefits.
