AN ACT CONCERNING THE EUTHANIZATION OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that when a domestic animal is euthanized, it be euthanized in a humane manner by a licensed veterinarian.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent pets from being euthanized in an inhumane manner.
