AN ACT CONCERNING REPORTING BY PROVIDERS OF MEDICAL CARE TO SENIOR CITIZENS ON INCIDENTS AND COMPLAINTS CONCERNING FRAUD AND ABUSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That titles 19a and 20 of the general statutes be amended to require facilities and individuals providing medical care to senior citizens to regularly report to the Commissioner of Public Health on incidents and complaints concerning fraud and abuse.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent senior citizens from becoming victims of fraud and abuse while receiving medical care.
