AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPALITIES AND THE PERMITTING PROCESS FOR THE USE OF HERBICIDES IN PRIVATE PONDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipal inland wetlands commissions to participate in the Department of Environmental Protection's permitting process for the use of herbicides in private ponds.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for municipal participation in the Department of Environmental Protection's issuance of permits for the use of herbicides in private ponds.
