AN ACT PERMITTING THE POSSESSION AND USE OF A GAMBLING DEVICE FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 53-278c and 53-278g of the general statutes be amended to allow for the possession and use of a gambling device for educational purposes as part of an academic course provided such use occurs only on the premises of the institution of higher education at which such course is being offered.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit the possession and use of gambling devices for educational purposes at an institution of higher education.
