AN ACT CONCERNING FRAUDULENT GRANT PROPOSALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the repayment of grant funds and an additional penalty if a grant recipient knowingly supplied false information when seeking a state grant.
Statement of Purpose:
To promote accuracy in grant requests and conserve taxpayer funds.
