AN ACT CONCERNING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF LEAD-BASED PAINT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Housing to expand the eligibility requirements for financial assistance for the abatement of lead-based paint to include developers, community-housing development corporations and other persons located in rural areas in the state.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase eligibility for financial assistance for the abatement of lead-based paint.
