AN ACT REQUIRING ZONING REGULATIONS TO CONSIDER THE PRESERVATION OF FARM LAND, FOREST LAND AND OPEN SPACE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (a) of section 8-2 of the general statutes be amended to provide that when a zoning commission amends its regulations, it shall amend such regulations so as to be consistent with section 12-107a of the general statutes, which concerns the preservation of farm land, forest land and open space.
Statement of Purpose:
To require zoning regulations to consider the preservation of farm land, forest land and open space.
