AN ACT CONCERNING STATE EMPLOYEE PARTICIPATION IN WELLNESS PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 67 of the general statutes be amended to, effective immediately, for all state employees and officials exempt from classified service and applicable to employees included in any collective bargaining agreement negotiated after the passage of this act, require the Department of Administrative Services to create a program to encourage state employees to participate in or join a wellness program.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage all state employees to be proactive regarding their health care.
