AN ACT CONCERNING STAFFING LEVELS FOR CONSERVATION OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 26-5 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the total number of conservation officers appointed shall be not less than sixty for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012, not less than sixty-five for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, not less than seventy for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2014, and not less than seventy-five for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the number of environmental conservation officers to a level that provides increased law enforcement.
