AN ACT AUTHORIZING MUNICIPALITIES TO REGULATE ACTIVITIES ON RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES WITHIN AQUIFER PROTECTION ZONES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipalities to regulate activities on residential properties within aquifer protection zones in order to preserve water quality.
Statement of Purpose:
To enable municipalities to preserve water quality within aquifer protection zones by regulating residential properties, not just commercial properties.
