AN ACT CONCERNING THE SALES TAX EXEMPTION FOR ICE CREAM SOLD BY THE DAIRY BAR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate the sales tax exemption for ice cream sold by the Dairy Bar at The University of Connecticut.
Statement of Purpose:
To consistently apply the state sales tax to the sale of ice cream.
